Life here has been hectic. We had the fire of our new facility that was being built and now we are in the process of trying to repaint and update the building we are in until completion of the new facility. The weekend has consisted of babysitting, mowing lawn, car show, and boat shopping. I have more yard work to do, but decided it was time to quit for one day. The garden is seeded and the flowers are planted. My kids are driving me crazy and well life is not much different, but have been very busy with graduation and projects that come with spring.
Well it is another day in my life. It sucked as usual. It has been raining and snowing we could get up to 4 inches tonight. My daughter is spending the night at my sisters as it is 25 miles to pick her up from her boyfriends. Just when I thought my son had life figured out he proved to me that I was wrong. Hubby was supposed to go to work today, but did not...also did nothing here. My son was to town and shot his score card for archery. The wood stove is burning, the grandkids and sons are sleeping, it is time for me to go to bed too. Hope you all have had a wonderful day. Wow Hubby just complimented my recipe we tried for Easter Dinner.
well today I learned a bit more about electricity. My son was helping with some outside chores and put the charger on the 4 wheeler battery, heard a pop and we had smoke coming out of the ground about 4 feet away from our power pole. after several phone calls and attempts to fix things...finally dug into the meter box and disconnected the second meter. I again have light and heat. Until we figured things out we had to have the power off so no one or no critter got hurt. weird to have mud when it is only 10 above...Was a weird day.
