Not really sunning wonderful day here today thanks to all of you. Off to make someones day as good as you have made mine. See one person can make a difference. Thank you again Layover
I need to know if other wifes out there feel the same way I do. Love to hear that truck pull up but after about 5 days ready to hear it leave again? I think I spend so much time alone that he gets underfoot when he is here. Love that man to death but he can sure mess with the everyday running of the house. LOL I have not dusted in four days and it needs done, all I get done when he is home is cooking for him and running around with him. He is a shopper and loves to go shopping when he gets home I'm not a shopper and I hate it. I know that is backassward but that is the way we are. He is very helpful around the house and will help me do anything I choice to do but I can't do it when he is home feel like I should spend my time with him and then neither one of us get a thing done. How can two people spend the whole day drinking coffee and talking to each other and do nothing. That is all we have done for two days now. I love for him to come home because I miss him so but NOTHING gets done in the house when he is here. I'm not kidding I mean mothing gets done. If I had a hubby that came home every night my house would be a total mess all the time. LOL Please tell me I'm not the only one that feels this way LOL I guess I may put to much importance on cleaning the house and keeping things in their place. Ok so its me not him I know this. I just don't want to accept it. LOL Off to drink more coffee with the walking laundry bag LOL
I love holidays is the 2 days after then that I don't like when everyone goes back to work or school and your stuck with the mess to clean up. We always end our holidays with a game of monopoly this time is was US Navy and I bet them all once again. Why can I get so much fake money and so little real money LOL. Oh well the house is once again clean and back in order. Hubby is looking for a load to get out of dodge before I have to start paying the bills with the fake money. He has been home more holiday this last year than in our whole marriage and we been doing this a long time. I think I like him being home on special days. I know he's a truckdrive don't get use to it. LOL

When : Always March 14th National Potato Chip Day celebrates the ever popular potato chip. Potato Chips are America's #1 snack food. But, its not just a snack food. Its the potato of choice for many lunchtime and dinner meals. Regular (or plain) potato chips are by far the most popular. Other popular flavors are barbecue, sour cream & onion, oil & vinegar, and ranch. Did you Know? Potato chips were first made by Chef George Crum in Saratoga Springs, NY on August 24, 1853. Americans have been in love with them ever since.
Good excuse to eat them today we are trying to be good Americans LOL
"Congress, by Senate Joint Resolution 193, designated March 6, 1984, as ''Frozen Food Day'' and authorized and requested the President to issue a proclamation upon this occasion. In Proclamation #5157, President Ronald Reagan said: "Now, Therefore, I, Ronald Reagan, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim March 6, 1984, as Frozen Food Day, and I call upon the American people to observe such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities." And, so this became a true National day of recognition and celebration. "
