If you are new to truck driving and want to know about a company to go to I can not refer you to Swift Transportation. The problem is that they are not really concerned about the driver as much as they are about making money. The don't send you good runs even though you are one of their best drivers with a good reputation. They try to get rid of you any way possible even if you have a Non-preventable accident. I would not recommend going to this company if you are just starting out as a driver. 6 Weeks is an awful long time to be on the road with a Mentor. They also teach the drivers to fudge their logs. If you drive for 11 hours straight mark it down. Do not use 57 miles per hour as a basis for logging your work day. It is illegal, don't do it.
